Biltmore Country Clubhouse Putting Green at Twilight
Back in 2018, I created a painting of the 15th hole at Teton Springs, which was reproduced as the bag-tag for our member-guest tournament. That weekend, the now Bronze Buffalo Sporting Club at Teton Springs, hosted an art exhibit showcasing my portraits.
During the reception, I struck up a conversation with a gentleman named Stan Pajerski. He was interested in a portrait, so I snapped some photos… and, well? The rest is history…

Golden Bell, #12 at Augusta National, The Masters — a Painting
Golden Bell, aka hole #12, may be Augusta National’s shortest par three, but it has teeth. With three challenging green-side bunkers and Rae’s Creek, this 155 yard beauty has brought the world’s finest golfers to their knees.
When it was announced that The Masters would take place in November for the first time — I decided it was time to capture this legendary slice of Augusta. This is the result… let’s see how we got here.

Please allow me to introduce my latest portrait — Stan Pajerski. I met Stan and his lovely wife Janice at Teton Springs last summer. A quick conversation lead to a fast friendship, and after a close inspection of my Indiana Jones piece — the idea of creating Stan’s portrait came to life.

Borbay’s 2018 — A True Banger For The Books
2018, you sly fox. While all-up in you, I traveled the world, took two trips to Vegas, painted like mad, was Artist-in-Residence at Teton Springs, golfed 100 rounds, played lots of hockey, auctioneer-ed a charity event; and even officiated my first wedding!
With record sales, amazing collectors, great friends and a loving family at my side — I couldn’t be more grateful. And now… let’s break you down, and drop it like it’s hot — 2018.
Teton Springs — A Painting Of The 15th Hole
The 15th Hole at Teton Springs brings the temptation. From the tee box, you can see the pin, 269 yards in the distance… surrounded by water and sand traps. Should you drive the green, you are looking at an eagle putt… if you miss, that first penalty stroke is easily followed by another, and another.
So, in other words, the forbidden fruit of 15, coupled with the iconic Rammell Barn proved the perfect hole to capture on canvas.
