Snake and Jake’s and Cutty’s in Grand Teton National Park

Snake and Jakes and Cuttys in Teton National by Borbay

I had the distinct pleasure of creating this painting for the Jackson Hole Food & Wine Dinner Series. Our event, hosted by Katrina and Brandon Ryan, featured the culinary expertise of James Beard Award winning Chef, Ryan Prewitt. Together with Megan Gallagher, Haynes Poe and Chef Prewitt, we put our minds together to create an image celebrating both New Orleans and Jackson Hole.

Our love for dive bars prevailed, resulting in this hybrid painting, featuring NOLA’s Snake and Jake’s Christmas Club Lounge and the Teton Gables sign, which resides in front of Jackson Hole’s own Cutty’s Bar & Grill… and, of course, we added Grand Teton National Park for good measure.
