Still wet, here is my first painting completed in Europe: San Marco Cathedral, in Milan. Located in Brera, this house of worship with a futbol field in the courtyard was built in 1254. It was since renovated in 1879 with a new brick facade (fact courtesy of Time Out Milan), yet retains a certain charm.

My painting of the Woolworth Building from financial technology leader WhenTech’s 34th floor 7 World Trade Center office has been completed. The first sessions focused on creating the structure during the day. Subsequent efforts included darkening the picture, then recreating the man-made lights at night.

Manhattan’s Art Deco masterpiece, the Chrysler Building, has been my favorite hi-rise for well over seven years and three months.
