With time comes change. Recently, the Teton Theatre marquee was removed, making way for a new pizza joint (mmmm… pizza). And, so, as a man with great admiration for signs… I decided to spend my Saturday evening as Artist-In-Residence at Four Seasons Jackson Hole painting this classic, decommissioned slice of Jackson.

Set-up, painting the blues… in the sky, not melancholy.

Kicking-off the evening with a fabulous cocktail, poured by Blake — bartender extraordinaire.

Began working in quadrants… sky, Snow King, Trees.

But wait! Artist Liz Park and professional ice hockey referee Troy Hillary stopped by… their visit inspired much smooching, and faster brush work.

Oh, I can’t tell you how exciting it was to paint these sweet, Luscious Jackson reds.

Now, it’s about working the lighter colors… marquee first.

Painting bricks, thinking about Pink Floyd and why Pako’s is such a delicious beer.

A quick snap of the finished work before driving off into the night…

Oh baby! Want some theatre for your home? What to paint next?
