Four days after my second Daughter, Vega Keanne, was born, I began a new ‘Mindscape’ painting. It began with a free-hand, free-association line drawing. Once the drawing was completed, I painted colors devoid of specific thought. The experience is both cathartic and exciting.
Have you ever seen an abstract painting and wondered what the hell the artist was thinking? Well, here are my thoughts on the process of abstract painting. The title of this piece is “Mindscape” — but I’ll get into that later. It’s 20″X20″, Acrylic on Canvas.
Let me state first, I am an a-political guy at heart. However, I do have a penchant for a good Houdini – and when it comes to making assets disappear… well, if you read the papers, you know Charlie The Tax Man can ghost a million like it’s hot.
