Before I tell you why you might want to buy some boxing gloves, please allow me to share a fight experience.
When we were in college, it was academic to put on boxing gloves. Mike was probably thinking, “I’m totally going to Tyson Smash Borbay’s face because it will be so much fun”.
So we line-up for a pre-fight shot, and guys, I mean, look at me in the grey hat, would you fight me if you looked like the other guy… before the fight?
It’s all about pacing yourself, calmly. Patiently.
But then, you tell a joke, and get a nice, solid jab with the left…
Then you forget it’s a fun evening of boxing on the streets of Boston and you go for a savage right.
And then sometimes the nose goes smashy smash smash and you almost cry…
And we all laugh at your pain, because it’s not broken.
And it’s so much fun, that someone takes a terrible photo.
And another.
But when it’s all over, we’re still friends, and nobody got hurt. Hooray for boxing in Boston. Now…
Check Mylos and Pun… two amazing gentlemen I was fortunate enough to meet, thanks to my boy TJ…
Bidding is now live for the “Fight For What’s Right”, Fight The City’s first annual custom boxing glove showcase… Check Fight The City’s EBAY Page to see some outstanding work and possibly take home a pair for yourself. The proceeds will be split three ways between the Hoods to Woods Foundation, Fight The City and each Artist.
If you would like to bid on mine, here is the link… but remember, I’m simply excited to help this great charity, organization and share a life story. Sorry Mike.
