Jackson Hole Quickdraw 2021 — ‘Borbay a’ la Ansel’

September 18, 2021 — 9:00AM — Jackson Hole Town Square — Hello friends, I’m delighted to announce, that I will be participating in my fourth Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival Quickdraw. Beginning at 8:00AM, sharp, we artist’s will have 90 minutes to create a piece — which will then be auctioned, live, in the tent adjacent to the square.

Ansel Adams Snake River Overlook

This year, I will be creating a 30″X40″, Acrylic on Belgian Linen painting, inspired by Ansel Adams’ famous photograph — “Snake River Overlook“. A spectacular, and accessible, vista — this view has inspired generations to visit the Grand Teton Mountain Range. I’ve long admired the work of Adams, and decided Quickdraw would serve as a fitting event to pay homage to a master.

Bid

To reserve a seat in the tent, you can purchase your bidding paddle online here for $50. If you acquire a work, the $50 will be refunded upon receipt of payment. You can also bid online, virtually, from anywhere in the world… effective immediately.

I will be live-streaming my creation on Instagram Live the day of the event — do follow along, and if you have any questions whatsoever — you can reach me here.

I thank the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce, Britney Magleby, Riley Frances Harris, the event volunteers and the entire team for their tireless work on this magical event.
