TETON VILLAGE, WY — AUGUST 21, 2017 — Summer Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole Artist-In-Residence, Borbay, will live paint the once-in-a-lifetime eclipse during a private solar eclipse viewing party. From 9:00 to 2:00 PM, guests will sip Bloody Marys and mimosas at Rendezvous Lodge, 9,095 feet (2,772 meters) above Jackson Hole Valley, and safely view the eclipse through Teton Skies’ hydrogen-alpha solar telescopes.
Following twelve consecutive weeks of live painting at The Ascent Lounge, Four Seasons invited Borbay to capture this astrological phenomenon. “I can’t imagine a better place to paint and experience the eclipse. The top-secret painting I will complete at 9,095 feet is going to be extremely special, and, I suspect, unlike any eclipse painting you will discover. My summer at Four Seasons has been incredible — I’m thrilled and honored to be a part of this magical event.”
Borbay will share the creation process live on Instagram and Facebook during the eclipse.

If you will be in attendance during the eclipse party, and acquire a work from this series by 1:00 PM MT on Saturday, August 19th, Borbay will have it wrapped for hand-delivery on the 21st.

“Eclipses are astroglogical events where the moon overshadows the sun, or vice versa.
