New week, new direction at Four Seasons Jackson Hole. This time — double rainbows over Lucky’s Market!

Watch this baby come together with a little help from my friend Brandon Ryan, and Ambershift Media, for the luscious soundtrack.

A quick sketch, and a view of the set-up. Yes, that’s an old fashion.

A really delicious old fashion… Blake the bartender is an artist!

This background took quite a bit of time and paint. I wasn’t sure if I’d nail it on the first go. Alas, I didn’t.

Taste the rainbow baby! Now, the bows are in, and the other elements are roughly painted. Time to call in the big guns…

Being Brandon Ryan, my good friend who stopped by for a quick drink and found himself throwin’ bows.

The long shot… before Brandon arrived on the scene, I darkened the sky with many tones of hand-mixed payne’s grey.

Threw more colors in the bows, added the wood slats, lights and signature.

Just to show you how crazy the studio lights are… this is what the painting feels like in the general ambiance.

And boom! Two rainbows (for you to take home) on a magical day in Jackson Hole… until next week at Four Seasons!

Another newsletter? You got that right. I'll honor and respect your inbox, as if it were my own. I endeavor to share everything happening at Borbay Studios & Gallery. No daily updates. No weekly updates. Simply a message, every month or two... updates on life, creativity, and the journey that began on July 2, 2009. Let's be in touch, as the first leg of my quest reaches completion in 2026. From a studio in my 600-foot Upper East Side apartment living room, to a museum collection. Oh, but friend, that is just the beginning. The road is long, and I am looking for cool, sophisticated company to navigate each challenging turn.
