I decided to celebrate eight fabulous weeks of painting at Four Seasons Jackson Hole with the Kudar Motel!

Here is the entire process in one minute, soundtrack courtesy of Ambershift Media…
Before getting started, I decided to watch the kids catching air… one dude, moments later, took a digger and busted his collar bone. Fortunately, a doctor was in the house.

Set-up and ready for action, with Wilson Motel watching over things.

A quick draw, followed by a careful gradient and some pink letters. Good friend Ryan Ariano, of Arco fame, stopped by to provide an old school tour of Teton Village. It was excellent.

Steady as she glows, steady as she glows. Steady as she glows.

You can check Kudar, in context with my other Four Seasons paintings, along with Hollywood and Atomic. The light on this one, as with all paintings, fluctuates greatly depending on when and how it is lit. The background feels really dark, but lightens up on the right angle. Art, always best experienced in-person.

And boom! Kudar… want to take it home with you?

Another newsletter? You got that right. I'll honor and respect your inbox, as if it were my own. I endeavor to share everything happening at Borbay Studios & Gallery. No daily updates. No weekly updates. Simply a message, every month or two... updates on life, creativity, and the journey that began on July 2, 2009. Let's be in touch, as the first leg of my quest reaches completion in 2026. From a studio in my 600-foot Upper East Side apartment living room, to a museum collection. Oh, but friend, that is just the beginning. The road is long, and I am looking for cool, sophisticated company to navigate each challenging turn.
