Happy Friday. And now for five pieces of news from the busy, and extremely messy Borbay studio.
1. Jack’s Favorite Things
A few of my favorite things… https://t.co/dKewgCECe8
— Jack Dorsey (@jack) December 3, 2013
Twitter and Square Founder Jack Dorsey included my Uma Thurman painting from the Kick Ass Actors series as one of his favorite things — the list was picked-up by Business Insider.
2. Miami for Not Basel
I’ll be in Miami from December 8-12 scouting some locations for new paintings, and taking meetings. If I ever go for Basel, I’ll do so when I can make wave enough to erode the Floridian shoreline.
3. Got it Covered
I’m working on a painting which will be the cover for Zack O’Malley Greenburg‘s new book: Michael Jackson, Inc.
4. Booked
I’m pleased to report, I’m booked with commissions through February — the earliest availability I have to start a new piece is March, 2014. Much of my existing work is available through Square (note: all of my prices go up January 1, 2014).
5. Back to the Futurism
The details are being finalized, but it looks like my next exhibition featuring the Back to the Futurism series will happen in January. More to come. Have an amazing weekend.
