On Wednesday, October 12th, the ARTPROV team performed a one hour live show for the staff of Michaels at their Dallas corporate headquarters.
The brainchild of Rory Scholl, director and performer, ARTPROV is an three-part improvisational comedy show: while six improv skits are performed based on six paintings, Eric March guides the troupe with his improvised piano playing, while a new painting is being created based on the show by yours truly.
As Rory says, it’s an “artistic circle of life.”

This was the resulting painting, created in one hour. The ARTPROV team will once again join Michaels this November, in Orlando, at Disney’s Epcot Center.
